I grew up in East Tennessee and moved here to Clarksville after earning my Bachelor's degree in Religion from Carson Newman College. I later earned my Tennessee teaching certification and licensure at Austin Peay State University and my Masters's degree in Education from Bethel University. This is my 11th year in CMCSS. I taught my first nine years at Montgomery Central Middle School in 7th-8th grade Reading and Social Studies and my 10th year teaching 8th grade Social Studies at Richview Middle School. I am fortunate to be serving as a TIC for the first time this school year. I look forward to wholeheartedly serving as a resource and support to CMCSS schools, teachers, and other district personnel.
